At Tiki Hut Life, we believe the little details matter. From selecting ingredients to crafting products in small batches, we put care into what we make for your home and everyday routines.

Because many of our products are handcrafted, small variations in color, texture, appearance, and weight are part of what makes each batch unique. Below, you'll find more about our process and tips to help you care for your Tiki Hut Life products.

Bar Soaps

Handcrafted in Small Batches

Our bar soaps are made using the traditional cold-process method, combining oils, butters, water, and sodium hydroxide (lye) to create soap through a process called saponification.

We select ingredients with care. Our soaps are made without intentionally added parabens, phthalates, or synthetic detergents. We focus on thoughtfully chosen ingredients and small-batch craftsmanship.

Each bar is hand-cut, beveled, and inspected. After cutting, our cold-process soaps cure for at least four weeks to allow excess water to evaporate and the bars to firm up.

Made by Hand, Not a Machine

No two bars are exactly alike! Differences in color, pattern, texture, and shape may occur from one batch to the next. Although we do our best to recreate our designs consistently, each batch has its own character.

Our bars are made with a target weight of approximately 4.75 oz. Actual weights and dimensions may vary slightly due to the handmade process and natural moisture loss during curing.

Product photos are provided as a guide. The bar you receive may have slight variations in appearance from the one pictured.

Soap Care

Help your bar last longer with a few simple steps:

• Keep your soap in a well-drained soap dish between uses.

• Allow the bar to dry fully between uses.

• Avoid leaving soap sitting in standing water.

• Store unused bars in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excess humidity.

A soap dish that allows airflow and drainage can help your bar stay firm and last longer.

Lotions & Body Butters

Everyday Moisture and Care

Our lotions and body butters are made in small batches with carefully selected ingredients. Depending on the formula, ingredients such as plant oils, butters, and other conditioning components help moisturize and soften skin.

Because formulations vary, always check the individual product page and ingredient list for details about a specific product.

Product care: Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Use clean, dry hands when scooping products from jars, and avoid introducing water or other contaminants into the container.

Follow any product-specific storage instructions and recommended use period provided on the label.

Sugar Scrubs & Bath Products

Our scrubs, soaks, and other bath products are designed to add a little something special to your everyday routine. Ingredients and textures vary by product, so please review each product description for its specific contents and directions.

Product care:

• Keep dry products away from moisture until ready to use.

• Use clean, dry hands or a clean scoop when handling products in jars.

• Close containers securely after each use.

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

• Use scrubs with gentle pressure and avoid broken, freshly shaved, or irritated skin.

• Take care when using oils, scrubs, or bath products in the shower or tub, as surfaces may become slippery.

For powdered facial masks, prepare only the amount needed for one application unless the individual product directions state otherwise.

Lip Balms & Salves

Our balms and salves combine selected oils, butters, waxes, and other ingredients to create products with a rich, protective feel.

Product care: Keep containers closed when not in use and store away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Apply with clean hands or a clean applicator when appropriate. Follow the directions and cautions listed on each individual product.

Candles

Our candles are made with soy wax and selected wicks and fragrances, depending on the product.

Candle Care & Safety

For the best candle experience, follow these precautions:

• Trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch before each use.

• Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts.

• Keep the wax pool free of debris.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.

• Keep candles away from children, pets, curtains, and other flammable materials.

• Do not burn for more than three hours at a time.

• Stop using the candle when approximately ½ inch of wax remains in the container, or sooner if the candle label instructs.

• Allow the container to cool before handling it.

Warning: Burn within sight. Keep away from things that catch fire. Keep away from children and pets.

Always follow the safety information on the candle label.

Tiki Hut Life products are crafted with care, and we aim for consistency from batch to batch. However, handmade products may have minor variations in color, shape, texture, scent, and appearance.

Please read each product's ingredient list, directions, and cautions before use. If a product causes an unwanted reaction, discontinue use. Individual experiences may vary.
