At Tiki Hut Life, we believe the little choices we make every day can make a meaningful difference in how we care for ourselves, our families, and our homes.

Our story began with a desire to be more intentional about the products we brought into our home. As a mom, I started researching ingredients, simplifying our routines, and looking for products that better reflected our family’s values. That curiosity grew into a passion for creating handmade soaps, skincare, bath products, and household essentials that we genuinely enjoy using ourselves.

Today, Tiki Hut Life is a family-owned small business inspired by a love of nature, simple living, creativity, and the belief that everyday routines can be meaningful moments of care.

From our handmade soaps and nourishing body-care products to our bath soaks and household essentials, we create products with thoughtful ingredient choices, appealing scents and textures, and the little details that make everyday routines feel special.

We work with a variety of oils, butters, clays, botanical ingredients, and other carefully selected components to create products we’re proud to share. We believe quality matters, and we put care into what we make, how we make it, and the experience we hope it brings to your home.

Our inspiration comes from the natural world, the beauty of simple things, and the desire to make more intentional choices in everyday life. We want Tiki Hut Life to feel like a little escape—a touch of coastal-inspired living and a reminder to slow down and enjoy the small things.

From Caring for Our Family to Helping Other Families

Tiki Hut Life is only part of our story. Motherhood and homeschooling have also inspired another creative journey: writing books and creating resources to help families learn, grow, and connect.

What began with simple questions and conversations with my own children grew into the 5-Minute Daily Connection for Kids book series. These books help parents and children explore topics like confidence, emotions, managing big feelings, kindness, friendship, and social skills through short, meaningful daily readings.

I also created 5-Minute Real-Life Skills for Kids to help children build independence and learn practical skills they can use in everyday life. My goal is to give families simple, approachable tools that encourage conversation, build confidence, and help children become capable, thoughtful individuals.

Whether I’m creating a new product for our home or writing a book inspired by something my children are learning, the heart behind it is the same: finding practical, meaningful ways to care for our families and make everyday life a little better.
